“I have been studying at l'Alliance for almost a year now. Needless to say, I love the progress I have made in this short amount of time, and all the fun I have had in the process. My teacher is very dedicated and shares great stories and anecdotes about her life in France. L'Alliance allows me to have 4 hours a week of "me" time that is very rewarding.”

Kayla Horacek

“The French classes at Alliance Française are the best. A few months of weekly night classes have given me a great basis for eventual fluency. I wanted something more than just conversational fluency, and so I opted for the standard curriculum.  It stresses not only communication skills but grammar as well. Small class size and excellent materials means one gets a comprehensive education. Add in an exceptional teacher and it makes for one fantastic learning experience. If that was not enough Alliance Française makes it even more rewarding with the cultural events they plan throughout the year.
Merci l'Alliance”

“I have been taking French at The Alliance Française since November 2008. I enjoy the class and our teacher. I especially enjoy the method used at The Alliance Française. In our textbook we do not just cover grammar we also cover French culture and customs. There is a special section at the end of each chapter that covers interesting aspects of French culture. It also provides useful exercises that recycle grammar and vocabulary already covered in class as well as exposing us to new vocabulary. Our classes are never dull and our teacher is engaging. I recommend the center to other adults who are looking for a disciplined way to learn French.”

"Je suis des cours de français depuis deux ans a l’Alliance Française et je suis plus que satisfaite.
Le rapport qualité/prix est imbattable.
Les cours sont limités à un nombre réduit d’étudiants. Les professeurs sont toujours d’un très haut niveau et nous sommes entourés de Francophones ou francophiles, créant un petit îlot français en plein milieu de Los Angeles.

Merci l’Alliance.”

David Aron

“I began my adventure at the Alliance Française in October 2008. I chose to study at AFLA for several reasons. The teaching program came recommended as the gold standard of instruction. I was particularly attracted by the uniformity of instruction, in that I could attend at any Alliance school worldwide and pretty much be able to fit smoothly into a new setting. My instructor has mastered the delicate skill of encouraging her students into grammatically difficult waters while managing to let them have fun in the process. I really feel that I am getting somewhere.”
